cotton Patch - Plowing fresh ground
Tobacco this weather dry & cool night

16 - Spayed & altered 21 shoats yesterday
Scattering manure in Lot & Plowing
for Tobacco. Very dry & warm & ground
hard, laying by corn up on the Branch
above house, weeding Tobacco in
big new ground — Lost 2 Turkey ^{& young one}Hens

19. began to cut wheat to day - weed–
=ing down Tobacco in little new ground
not plowing much more till after harvest
