etc etc. Plowing & weeding Corn working Cotton
& Potatoes Plowing overseers Truck Patches
this morning -- my wife gone to Mr Hunts
& Carrd Molassses home she Borrowed of them

17th Weeding corn on hill by Middle old Barn
& Plowing left side, Henry sick, began to weed
on left side this evening, wheat looks very sorry
Oats looks tolerable well at this time

18. Weeding Corn & Plowing left side of Path in field
Henry Sick yet fine clear hot day —

19th Sheared sheep Plowing & weeding
Corn got over Plowing & Plowing on Branch
marked Turned out 9 she Lambs making
29 with the Ram we shall keep,-

20. went to Sunday School Mr anderson gone
& nobody attended but Mr Jno W Lewis

21st I went to Court Fayette Clement failed to
meet me, I collected money from Anderson
for Fariss Tobacco & Small Recd for myself
We had a fine Rain Sunday evening
& this morning we are replanting Tobacco
In evening went to weeding corn & finished
Corn & Peas & nearly done cotton, & Hilling
up Sweet Potatoes, weeding & Plowing Tobacco
in Lot by alse House & by guano yard

22nd Plowing & weeding Tobacco in Lot

23rd Began to Lay by corn 2 Plows Sandy
Plowing Tobacco at Crews’s Mr Lain Set me
up 2 Tobacco Hhds Henry sick, my wife
Sallie & Jerry gone to Fannies, weeding
Tobacco in Lot yet, - - Foggy damp month

24rd weeding Tobacco in Lot. Laying by corn
with Plows, Sandy Plowing Tobacco, I expect
to begin to Cut wheat & Rye to day -
only cut Lot wheat Finished weeding lots Tobacco
