10th We are Harrowing & working Out Lot
Tobacco & on Branch Laying by Corn, Jerry
& me walked to Strait Stone to meeting to day

11th went to meeting Carrd Mrs Neal sacramentto day

12th Laying by Corn prizing Tobacco & working
Out Lot Tobacco & Cotton etc cloudy & like for Rain

13th Rained more or less all day yesterday
& last night, nearly all night, ground
very wet, prizing Tobacco Plowing Turnip
Patch & choping Bushes out of new
ground Tobacco at mountain spring
=Jacob stayed here last night,-

14th Rained last night hard we are this
morning thinning Corn, Sent Buck^with 4 Bushels
Corn to Yates for meal & to bring home overseers
flour carried down there last week Sent little
Henry
to Faris mill 1½ wheat for flour, & her
Rose to the Jack She had to do with him

15 Laying by Corn 4 Plows balance taking
mould off fine Tobacco in new Barn,
till 12 Oclock then working & Harrowing
Tobacco in Lot. Tobacco very much mould
in Barns; cloudy & like for Rain again

16 Prizing fine Tobacco to day & sunning good from
Barn back of Garden got all out of that House
sunning to day - Plowing & will nearly get done
Laying by this evening, Harrowing & working
Lot Tobacco & Malissa in Cotton Patch
Fine growing weather at this time.

17th Finished Laying by Corn Peas & Potatoes
Plowing Tobacco next to chumblys & in Lot
& working of it, prizing Tobacco 2 Hdd under
prize 1 good & 1 fine,- Lowry came down
& to day I have sent Jordan & Jim up to Cedar
Hill
for them to stack Oats, fine weather
Sent off Lynchg by H. Wade 2 Hhds Tobacco @ $5. Hhd
I found him & paid 87½ for toll, second rate & good sent
