making 5 stacks put up Cutting To[…]
& finished in new ground & Cutting som[…]
in ps in fresh ground Dick & Alex cutting
& Cording wood to day. I went to strait
stone to see Mr Pearcys & H. Templetons
settled by Bro A. B. Brown Pringle & J.S & Hubbard
very warm weather at this time

20th. I went to Yates Mill Carried 5 Bus
Corn for us & a bag for Henry could not
get it ground no water I went on to Mr
Millers Mill they had water & ground
it directly but there came up a cloud
Rained smart Gust soon as it was over I
got my half of 1 Log My meal & started
for home & Just did get home & got the
meal in smoke House & it rained very
hard Several showers, - warm weather

21st cloudy & rainy this morning
Put up Broken Leg Hog yesterday. -

22nd Halled up 700 stacks out of new ground
& some from fresh ground in Corn field Tyed up
the fodder pulled & put on the stork
Dick & Alex Sawed big Oak & 1 Willow Oak 2 Cuts
of each for spokes & fellows

23rd little cloudy to day I went to Jerrys yesterday

24. worming & succorring Tobacco firing old
prize Barn cloudy & rained a little before night
Dismissed Charlotte from here on actt of
her Situation give her felting & some warp for her

25 worming children’s clothes some meal & meat here is gone& succoring Tobacco Dick
& Alex cording wood this morning &
Rained about day break & sun rise
