field for cross fence & for out side fence also
& we halled rails to fence in fodder stacks
& then Mr Dalton went to fencing with Lucy
upper end of Johns’s field Richard started
to Lynchg for me with Mr Hunts Estates waggon
thats gone to Lynchg with wheat Lard & 19
Bacon Hams to sell, & Get Guano Nails & some
Iron & a few little things for me

6 Halling rails Danl malled Mr Dalton went to
Keens & gone all day –

7 Halling rails Danl malled along road

8 Sunday went to meeting Kate & Mr Moses here

9 Mr Dalton & Sam both halling rails for
new fence Danl Malling to day

10. Halled up 1 Load Shuck & 1 Oat stack
waggon & Cart halling rails to day
I went to old place yesterday –

11 Sam still halling rails fine weather
Mr Dalton gone to Mill Carried 5 Bus for
us meal 1 Turn for Richd 1 Turn 2½ Bus for
himself & 1½ Bus. wheat for himself
got back by ½ after 9 Oclock & Halling
Rails Waggon & Cart, & about finished halling
all the rails malled except 1 days work
I went to old place Bybees sale

12th. Began to Rain & this morning rained
very hard & Turned Cold Rained hailed & snowed
& at night very cold, striped Tobacco to day
I tried my cow home yesterday & nobody
come to Cedar Hill but Tommy & we could
not get her to follow nor drive
We striped about 50 or 60 sticks & some
one day before to day – my boar has
been gone about 5 or 6 days –

13. Snowed some last night all frozen this morning
Sent Mr Dalton & Sam after my Cow at Cedar
I went too Brot her home made Cart body
& halled 1 Load wood a ps waggon & Cart
