are striping Tobacco in old prize Barn
Mr Dalton taken sick & stoped striping 12 Oclock
I went to old place they have not got
Strait there J Kelley has not moved Bybee
there yet, the negroes there moved Sunday
Robert Lain there to day weather more
moderate roads tremendous sloppy & wet, -

2nd Janry We are striping Tobacco here
I went to old place delivered Keys to Jesse
Kelley he moved to day & Bybee moved from
there I Recd List from him of things there
still cloudy & like for falling weather

3rd Janry 1868 Striping Tobacco to day moderate day
my Hogs did not come up to night, -

4th Halled straw & put it fodder stack for Cows
Halled Load Leaves Load Shucks, 1 stack
Oats & several Loads wood in evening

5. Jerry came here last night delivered him
Doct Hortons Bond due Est for $9.50 & Int
given at sale last april was a year I think
We all stayed at home moderate day

6th Raining all day & night striping Tobacco

7th. Striping Tobacco & finished old prize barn

8 Daubed kitchen weaving house & Lowry
house & Hannah & Ell scoured out House
where Aaron lived, - our folks Cutting in
new ground
Charles at work here to day Cutting at
2/- pr day when he works Mr Dalton sick
again

9. Sent to Mill by Mr Dalton 3 Bus for him
5 Bushel Corn for meal ourselves 3 Bus.
wheat for flour for us cold & windy
Raking & Halling leaves this morning with
waggon, charles here to day

10th Cutting some in new ground charles & LowryCutting
the other side branch Mr Dalton moved
to overseers House to day & took him nearly
all to do it cold & windy
