mayfor Self 1 Barrel corn
for me & 2½ Bus for

May 21 Whitsentide Holiday

May 22d Worked out potatoes Irish
worked out garden planted peas and
Broom Corn Hilling in new ground

May 23d replanting corn Hilling in new
ground

May 24th Election day went to Yeatts
Mill Carried 7½ Bus Corn 2½ for
myself - carried one Small log -
all hands in new ground Hilling
trying to finish -

June 5 Planted Corn in flat on Branch
in front of dinning room door to day
weeding corn very dry weather planted
no Tobacco yet

June 6th Some rain passing about but
a very light shower here still very
dry weather corn looking well
finished weeding corn to day bushing
the oats and fixing lot Tobacco land
for Tobacco
