I can't read the surname in the entry for April 8, 1826.
The writing at the bottom of this page is cramped, and the wording I've transcribed as "cousin clio" looks doubtful.

Any guess what "Carpenters in Louisa" might refer to? It sounds like a property or perhaps a market (town or store). Unfortunately, searching gives me a list of carpentry services in Louisa County, so I'm kind of at a road block.
