Thursday, November 28, 1918

A very rainy day. Miss Janie
and the children went to school.
Ben has bin complaining all
day. He hitched the horses to
the waggon and started to
meet the children met them
nearly at home.

Virginia Harvey come with
Janie home.

Mrs Carr has bin sick all
day. Josie got supper . She
cooked a chicken and made
cocoanut pies. They were fine.
I have set by the fire
more than common to day
and have enjoyed it. I have
had a very good fire tonight
for which I am glad.

This is the night of Thanks
Giving day.
