Wednesday December 14, 1921

A windy day. Very disagreeable.
Ben and Ben hauled some leaves
and put in the stable.
Alcie Callands washed here
today. The clothes most blowed
a way. I got them this evening.
I have staid at home all day to
day. We had turnip salid
for dinner and sweet potatoes.
Tonight there is two men
here say they are Mormon
preachers. We dreaded them
but they are very pleasant.
The children went to school.
Josie commenced to change
her dress this evening. I
comenced to make some
sheets. Tonight I have read.
Did not try to work any.
It is now nearly ten oclock
and I must go bed.
Oh how I miss Carrie.
