Thursday February 10, 1921
A very bad day. Rained about all day and raining now. Jim & Ben stripped tobacco. Marvin helped them. Josie got dinner and supper. I ironed some. Finished a quilt. Mended some.
One of the pigs got hurt some way this evening. I hope it will get well.
8 oclock
Ben milked this morning.
Friday February 11, 1921
A windy day and colde. Tonight Ben & Jim and Marvin stripped tobacco. Finished one of Bens cureings. Josie helped a while this evening. Henry and Edna went to school today.
Mr Wesley Cothran come and got a cow today, the cow that I bought from Mrs Car. I ironed some today and mended some tonight.
Saturday February 12, 1921
A colde windy day. Jim and Ben cut and split the cut paper tree up for wood. It was a job that kept them busy all day.
Josie got dinner and supper. I ironed some this morning and set by the fire most of the evening. Marvin went to Gretna this evening. He got some turkeys from Miss Roles.
Two of them was for Jim. I do hope he may have good luck with them.
Sunday February 13, 1921
A beautiful day. Jim got some feed for the cows. Went to Marvins and got two turkeys. They packed down some tobacco. I went to Lee Brumfields and spent the day. Oscar come after me.
Ben & Josie come up there this evening. I was so glad that they come as I could come home and not be any trouble to any one.
Jim & Henry staid at home. Grace had a good dinner. Beaula and her husband was there. They are lookin well. I hope that they will come to see us soon.
Marvin & family went to John Smiths. Hope they had a pleasant day.
Monday February 14, 1921
A good day. Jim & Ben and Marvin killed a hog for Ben. Mr Sam Owen moved from here today. I felt sad to see them go but I hope he has bettered him self. He moved to Mr George Allens.
Henry and Edna went to school.
Josie got dinner and supper. I fixed up after hog killing.
Josie went to Marvins this evening. She carrie[d] Franklin and Mabel. Mollie Reynols was there a while. I would of like to see them all. I would be glad to see all of the children. I may never see them all any more.
