Saturday, January 28, 1922

A snowy morning. There is
the most snow on the land
that is ever on it in this
part of Va. The wind is not
as colde as it is some times.
Ben made some paths. He
worked two horses to a drag.
Jim shoveled a lot of
snow from the stables and
hen houses. He feeds the
chickens and hogs. Ben
milked for me yesterday
and today. Josie got dinner
& ironed today. Mr Mayhew
come by and stayed some
time playing games with
Ben & the children. The mail
did not come yesterday or
today. We mis it so much.
