Monday, October 16, 1922

A cloudy and some rain.
Ben & Jim stripped tobacco.
Tobacco is very high in order.
Josie has bin suffering all day to
day. Ben went to Hutchersons
for tablets that they got at
Gretna. The children went
to school. Nellie and
I got dinner. We cooked
peas and turnip salit &
baked potatoes. I went
to the barn for the first
time since the tobacco was
cured. Fanny Power went
home. We miss her so
much. Mabel had a
nap of sleep today and
she cant go to sleep
tonight.
