A very bad day. We all staid
at home all day. Nellie & I
got dinner. Nel baked potato
pies. I cooked cabbage &
back bones. Nellie churned.
I fixed up the butter.
Johnson come here a while.
He was talkeing a bout
fixing for Xmas. I done
want to fix much but
will do the best I can.
Jim went to John
Hubbards he said
to see about getting
a goat. He said it was
dead. I did not want it
here any way.
