A good day. Very cool
for August. Marvin and Carrie
washed this morning. I
got dinner. Cooked snaps
and potatoes and fried
chicken. Carrie churned
when she got thru washing.
We went to Tim
Bennetts this evening.
Carrie and all the
children and I found
them all well.
Lonnie Bennett was
at home.
I was glad to see
them all.
[C?arley] Harvey and Virginia

I was glad that they come.
