Monday, July 30, 1923

A good morning. Rain
this evening. Ben worked
on the truck most of the
day. He went to Srait
Stone for some bolts. He
let all of the children
go. Jim sowed some
turnip seed and got up
some potatoes.
Alma got most of the
dinner. We had snaps
and butter beans and corn.
The first that we have
had this season. Alma
made me two aprons
this evening and changed
Ednas dress.
Alma went to Blains
this evening to spend
the night. I will miss
her so much when she
goes home and she intends
going soon. Franklin
has bin complaining all
the evening.
