Brumfield	Thursday, August 23, 1923 A cloudy day until late. This evening it cleared a way. It has bin colde all day. We have had a fire all day. I peeled a lot of peaches and Carrie preserved them. She caned some tomatoes this evening. Lee Brumfield staid here a gain last night. I was glad for him to be here. The roads was so mudy I was a fraid some thing would happen to him. I got a letter from Edna this morning. She said that they were all well at home. I am anxious a bout them at home. I want to know how they are getting on.
