GSM specimens book 1: GSM 1 - 4658

These are the original register books holding details of fossil specimens originally held in the Museum of Practical Geology, Jermyn Street, London, and now housed at the British Geological Survey headquarters in Keyworth, Nottingham.

We need your help in transcribing the handwritten records into digital form. We will then be able to marry up this information with the existing information on our fossil database, Palaeosaurus, which will vastly help us in understanding more about the history of the collections.
