Dear Mother:

Had a letter from you today
dated the 18th. I gather from it
that as yet you had not recieved
my letters explain that I am not
in the States. I am sure you must
have them by this time so I will
not go all over it again. You
said you thought Marion had started
her leave and would be in to see you
soon. She told me it was to
start the 25th, this coming Monday
so I guess you will see her before
this letter arrives. But sure and
take her to a good show and both
of you have some fun.

Not much to say for myself these
days. Everything is the same. We
just go along from day today.
We will be here for quite awhile
yet and I just know it will get boring
very soon. Say have you sent me
the money I asked for yet. If
