Dear Mother:
Well here I am again safe and sound. I
wrote yesterday but that letter may have
seemed a bit mixed up. Again I say I am perfectly
alright now so please do not worry. I can't
tell you how it happened just yet but we
came out best in that one.
We had a swell Thanksgiving here too.
We had turkey and all the rest. Glad you
folks had a good time too.
Now to get down to the business at had.
As soon as you get this letter go to the bank
and draw fifty dollars and send it to me as
soon as possible. Please do it as soon as
possible. It is a big rush.
Had a letter from Dad today. I see he is
a sargent now. Will write more tomorrow.
Please rush the money.
Your loving son
