and things are all important, the details books as thru a high powered zoom lens. As time passes and the lens [grows?] back what seemed so inordinately imporant to me (in my time) here + now fades to insignificant detail in the world of the future perception zooms backward as time hurries on the backward glance, presents strong foreground images but they seem seldom to be the same forceful impressions [?] I gauged my life by. My heroes, my idols, the [aesthetics] of my time, will they still be visible in one thousand years. Probably not. So what!
