solitary image - an unconnected narrative?
Self contained ystery to me an iconic aphorism. Os is it more like a dictionary, each block delivering a different term in a memory bank devoted to the fantasies of a man prefers to remember the memories [?] to his actual life. A buried block a buried memory (fantasy) the ocean impersonal, ubiquitous hider of all terrestial refuse. On the surface every night on the ocean is like every other. Get to the bottom of things [?] in each block. So solitary so correlated to the others. Alienation or lack of relatedness defines these blocks. Each cries out to be left alone. They are related only in the mind that conceived them. And in that mind the relations come and go slipping from fantasy to reality as life lunges from life threatening to bemused torpor. Mr. Bland gets to the bottom of things.
7/7 We have hit a big storm going the same way we are. I hope we can survive it. A ship went by but did not answer our call. Seas gigantic. May last several days or more. Can I survie it — cannot go out on deck.

7/8 weathered storm -- but still have 10 to 12 foot waves. Sun out but wind from North. Not good sign — hope it changes back to SW.
