dollars per month for. It is our intention to seel [sell] or give our goods
away and the all go to the mines and try our fortune there this place
is within fifty mils [miles] of the first diggers and is Starting permit for this
plan. Hundred or more wagons lave her [here] evry [every] night.

Then at last for [four] to six thousan [thousand] persons have now the town
I like much better than San Francisco. The houses or tents are
the same as those in San Francisco. The plan is within
two or thre [three] mils [miles] of Sutters [Sutter's] Frt [Fort] you You ask me to take a
glance and I wile [will] find you just as I left you. I wile [will] now ask you
to take a glance at me and you wile [will] not find me ever I was eight

Justy I do not think you have a reason to regret saying to me when
you did about make as I think now you should spoken of it before
you did as I am afraid that I hav [have] been the means of obstructing you
of hapspyness [happiness] for time to come. I do not wish you to think that I think
you wished to humps [?] me but to the contrary I would gladly accet [accept]
difference in circumstance have allowed at the time. I have nothing
