C. Thomas is Master for this voyage, now lying at the port of
NEW-YORK, and bound for Sacramento City Cal To say :
Thirty Six Casks of Butter

tackles at her anchorage, when ready for delivery
Freight payable on board in specie, or its
equivalent or before delivery of the goods. Vessel not
accountable for leaking or breakage when properly
stowed. Contents are even.]
being marked and numbered as in the margin; and are to be delivered in the like order
and condition, at the Port of Sacramento City (the dangers of the seas, fire & collision
only excepted,) unto John N Ryerson
or to his assigns, he or they paying freight for the said goods
One Dollar per Cubic foot
with 5% primage and average accustomed. In witness whereof, the Master
or Purser of the said vessel hath affirmed to 4 Bills of Lading, all of this tenor
and date ; one of which being accomplished, the others to stand void.
