III X^anity [Christianity] inculcates & enforces them.

1 They belong to t. [the] very soul of X^anity [Christianity].

"Charity suffereth long & is kind." Pure religion & unde-
-filed before G. [God] is this to visit t. [the] fatherless &c. [etc.]."

Be ye kind 1 to another, tender heart, forgiving 1 another."
The fruit of the spir. [spirit] is love, joy, peace, long s [suffering] –
gentleness, goodness, faith ~

2 They belong to her armory – – .

The world is to be overcome by love.
X^ns [Christians] sh'd [should] be so lovely & beautiful in
life as to attract all hearts.

Shd [should] have such courtesy – politeness – kindness –
love be such fellow-helpers – – – that men weary –
sick – disgusted may turn & find a home.

"Who overcomes by force hath o. [overcome] but half his foe" ~

3 They are readily employed.

Kindness – conciliation are cheap – a smile
costs nothing – it may be always given.
