the Johanna Ceasar [Cesar], and had Chinie [China]
and Malay passengers for California
in would have got Some water
from some of these Vessels but
it was too rough to lower a boat
one of the passengers fitted a
Machine to Make fresh water
but his Means was limited So
it did not work as well as was
Expected so the Idea was given
up for the presant [present]. there has
been some of our passengers unwell
all through or at least So far and
a young man died on the Morning
of the first of Augt. [August] he was found
dead in his Bunk No one had
Any Idea of his death at the
time
