I have some plain sewing to do. but
that does not pay very well. Adeline
dont [don't] write to us hardly once a fornight [fortnight]
I may as well say once a month
she promise [promised] to send me something once
in a while but she is such a story
teller she acts real mean, I think

Yesterday [their] there was an excursion up
to Boston for one dollar and Charles
went up he thought he might get
something to do, but I hardly thinks
he will he has not come back yet
Charles would like to come out there very
much and so would I if it was not for
Grandmother Margaret she is quite
well for her and also the children.
Kate is well and sends her love.

Bob promise to give me fifty cents
a week for Grandmother but he has not
done it to morrow [tomorrow] night I shall go because
he owes me for two weeks one dollar
Aerol and George are well, Grandmother
is well and sends her love to you all
