I am curious of the entry standard California State Library desires for dollars and cents figures, districts, expansion of abbreviations (i.e. using []) and creation of subjects. I did not ditto the districts, create any subjects but did expand abbreviations on this and another paged marked for review. Please advise.

Thank you for your help transcribing these pages. Our goal is to capture as much information as possible and to expand abbreviations where possible. Once these pages are transcribed, we will download the files as spreadsheets and edit the dollar and cents figures to include zeros for things like $1.00 and .50 cents. There is a set standard for these in the program, so it can't be altered at this level. If something is ditto, we want to fill in the information.

This is the first time we have used this style of transcription, so we are not sure how we will work with the results. We usually use [] when inserting corrected information.
