I worked in the office yesterday (Sunday) for a couple of hours,
then went home, intending to make an egg curry, but could
not find any rice, so instead made some clam soup, eat
2/3 of a can of sardines, 5 pieces of toast, and a cup of coffee.

Immediately after, Helen telephoned that they were in their
garden playing with Kink and to come up. I went and
had dinner, but could not eat much, because I had finished
that wonderful meal about 3 pm and of course was
not hungry. I watered the back part of the garden, ferns
etc. and gave them a good soaking. Fergi had not been
able to get that far. Lots of love to you, and Edward
if he is still there. Tell him again that if he ever wants
money when on the other side, to draw on me if he
can get a bank to honor the draft. In haste
