Dearest Edward.

Just a few lines to let you know
that we are thinking of you as always.
No letters yet from France, from you,
we hope daily for the arrival of one.

There is no news since I last wrote
you, that from Norman being the most
interesting i.e. his "Mayority."
Dorothy Thompson Mayo arrived
last Monday from the East - to visit
her father & mother -- Her father has been
very [underlined] ill in the hospital for 10 weeks &
more but is on the mend now - I have
not yet seen Dorothy. but hope to soon.

Kinkie is well & would I am sure send
you a message if he could [underlined] I still have
him - He has been quite good [underlined] lately.

Fondest love dearest from each one of
us -- Write us soon & as often as you can.
