I very much doubt if it will be safe to move
him for at least two weeks from now. Mother
says she is well herself, but I hope the strain
wont make her sick. I dont think it will
and I hope she will keep the nurse right
along as economy is no good in cases
like this. Lesley and I are keeping
house alone and getting along alright.

On top of all the trouble I have had an
abscessed tooth for three days, and Friday
& yesterday I did not go to the office.
However the abscess broke last night, and
that and the good news from Los Ang about
Jos have made me feel more like myself.

They did not think it advisable to move
Jos, so Mother and he are at the Hotel
Alexandria. I received on Xmas day
one or both of the $100.00 cheques from the
YMCA in New York that you sent, so
that is off my mind. It took them over
three months to send the first and nearly

have liked to have seen you home for
