Everyone is greatly excited & pleased
apparently. We are being congratulated
upon all sides — the Halls & Druneys
& Watermans & Siers — & Andersons
& Lovells etc — all sending you
messages of congratulation.
My brother Fred wrote today that
Raymond George is home — not Bill [written above the line] — he
was with the Marines in
France & has a Croix de
Guerre — (not with Palms)
which he said was granted
the whole regiment by Citation
