Sneddie darling,

The sun went com-
pletely under a cloud when your
Train went around the curve
and carried you out of sight,
I wanted to howl, and was
glad I was in a public place,
and had to restrain my emotions,
as it was I had a difficult time
on the ferry, concealing my face
from other passengers. It would
have been such a relief to just
give way and add my tears to
the waters of the Hudson, rather
hard on New York and New Jersey
