I have certainly recovered
from my cynical attitude towards
men in general, it is only
New York men who are not nice,
all through our trip we have met
awfully nice people, and some very
interesting ones, not one asked us
our names or addresses, just en-
quired about where we started from,
where going, how long etc. Now if
a N.Y. man gave you a ride, the
first thing he'd do would be to
try and fix up a date! Nearly
every one gave us a card and
wanted us to drop them a postal
saying we had arrived home
safely, even the truck drivers! We
have caused a lot of worry through
the state.
