Am being persued by a man
from Australia! Very good looking
extremely so, at least forty
years of age! Met him at
the party in the back yard and
have been avoiding the telephone
ever since, but tonight he caught
me and I had to invent a
fictitious date to stale him off,
if he were only younger I might
cheer up my lonesome soul by going
out with him. He has quite a
line and in desperation I tried to
choke him off by telling him I was
in love with someone in California,
to which he replies "but he's in
California and I'm in New York."
