3.

I appreciated very much your thought
of wanting me to have your apt. while you
& Mrs. Bates were on your visit in Pa.
I trust you both enjoyed the vacation trip &
that you did not murder any of the traditions
of the Quakers.

When are you and Betty coming
West to live? It seems to me that
you would be getting tired of that
little village life you lead in New York &
would think of more serious things than
Broadway's attractions, Ha, Ha!

Belive me, the twins are growing so
fast & are getting so interesting that I just
hate to leave home. Elsie is a wonderful
mother & has done everything for the babies.
We have never had any sickness so her
patience & thoroughness has been rewarded with
perfectly healthy babies.

Provided I am fortunate enough to
land safely in New York I will proceed at
once to get in touch with you, Ole Boy.
Am just crazy to have a long talk with you
about things in general. As I do not
go over to Alameda often I do not
see much of our mutual acquaintances.
However, I saw your mother some time ago
in Goldberg-Bowen's San Fran. store &
had the pleasure of chatting with her a few
minutes. She was looking well & told me
you were getting along fine.

Give my kindest regards to Betty.
I hope she is enjoying perfect health.

Elsie joins me in kindest regards to
you both. Write when you can.

Your friend
Warren Thompson
