The Boche didn't get very far today.
I got called at general inspection this morning.
A mechanic was struck by a propellar and
killed this evening.

Monday June 3 '18.

Am feeling pretty low today.

Tuesday June 4 '18.

Went to the doctor and he loaded me
up with quinine for malaria. Spent the
day in bed.

Wednesday June 5 '18.

Was up all day but felt like the last
rose of summer. Went to the dentist
in the morning.

Thursday June 6 '18

Still feel might low.

Friday June 7 '18.

Went on guard from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Feel pretty good to day.
Received a letter from Sgt. D. O. Peters
telling of Ray Sherman's death. This
came as a big blow, and was very
hard to believe. Ray hadn't been in
France over two weeks.
