Dearest Lela! -

I haven't written to you
since I was home which is quite
awhile. During the time I was in
the hospital I didn't feel like
writing to anybody so I guess
you will let me go this time
for being so neglectful.

In your last letter
you were telling about how
hot is is up home. I wish
you were down here for
a couple of days, you would
think Mtz. was a paradise
along side of this God
forsaken country. This morning
we had one of the worst
wind storms I have seen
since I arrived in this
