trained are about to leave
for France and all we have
to look forward to is four
months of strenuous trainng,
and training rookies at
that. Myself with a number
of other non-coms asked to be
reduced to the ranks so we could
go with the rest of them, but
our request was turned down
cold.

The officers told us that
we were too easy with the last
men that were in the company
and that it is up to us to "hit the
ball" with this next bunch or
step down and let some one
