This makes the fourth camp
I have been in since I left
Kearney. One in the United
States and three here. I
hope to be in one in France
within the next few days.
I am afraid all the time
that I will get held in England
and not get a chance to go to
France. Have given up all
hope of ever getting in to the
front lines at all from
what I hear around here. A
Yank here that has seen
eight months service from
Dinuba, California wanted to
bet me his full month's
pay that there would be
no fighting after November
He might know what he
is talking about, anyway I
