Somewhere in France

Dear Ma:

I am feeling fine and we are
camped in the most beautiful part of
France. It is just like Cal. with it’s
beautiful vineyards and sunny skies.
The people here are glad to see us here
and they treat us like one of them-
selves. I certainly had a wonderful
trip and I will have a great many
interesting things to tell about.
I can’t tell you very much because
I am not allowed to. The only
thing I can tell you is not
to worry a bit because I am
not in any danger. I don’t
think I will ever be in any
danger as long as I am over
