of hearing from home again
Some mail came in last night
but I wasn’t amongs’t the lucky.
I broke the main spring of my
watch Tuesday night and I
brought it into the city yesterday
to get it fixed. It is going to cost
me 29f 69 to get it fixed, figure
out in your spare time how much
it is going to cost me. I havn’t
learned that a franc has some
value but after they are all gone
I will begin to realize that a
franc is about 19 cents. I put one
hundred and fifty francs in
the bank Monday instead of
carrying them around with me.
If I didn’t put them in the bank
I would wear them out carrying
