Dear Ma:

Just a line to let you know that
everything is O.K. We are having
plenty of rain and mud but we
are used to it now and don’t pay
any attention to it.

I have a set of pictures that I
would like to send home but
I guess I will have to carry
them with me. They cover our trip
through America, England and
France. It is a set that I will
treasure a great deal after the war.

I am sending this handkerchief
as a remembrance of Xmas. There
are other souveniers from here
that I will send later on.

Will drop you a long letter in
a day or two.
