Big air raid. Shrapnel
fell all around camp. Attacked
three times during the night.
Very exciting. Altogether too
close, seeing that we had
no cover. Went out on
convoi at nine. Caried
75 from Bozoches to Saint
Marguerit. No excitement.
Very dusty. Got home at seven
thirty. Bert Hope and one of
the 550 boys locked frunt wheels
and had a regular colision. But
was loaded with 75 and the
first thing he thought of was are
those things going off. Machine
pretty badly smashed. One
Frenchman getting a ride on
the other car was hurt a little.
