Spent the day fooling
around Soissons. Had
lunch with Ted. Preble.

Monday, Nov. 19, 1917.
Took my last look at
Soissons, and heard the
guns at the front for the
last time as a volinteer.
Went into the cathedral and
met four U.S. Senators.
One of them was very
excited over a shell that
landed close to him that
morning up at the Inalmeason.
Left Soissons at 3:30 for
Paris. Arrived at Paris at
8:30.
