Dear Sweet heart.

Just aline to let you know
I am well and feeling fine. I don't
know what to write about so don't
be surprised if my letters seem short.
Having good weather here so we have
church services in the open every Sun-
day morning. After church I had
dinner and then got a pass from
camp. I took a ride into the country,
at the end of the line I got off and
walked for a long ways. The sight of
the green fields and farm houses
cows and chickens make me feel
very home sick and blue. Do you
know what they reminded me of?
