a sore foot and had to miss the
dance. I am sure if I had been
there you would have forgotten
about that foot of yours. I had a
letter from Otto and he told me
the boat had been broken into by
some bay pirates. There were several
things stolen but I suppose it can
not be helped. Otto also sent me a
news paper clipping stating about
the boat and the owner fighting
some where in France. It was no
surprise to me to hear about Bill
and Louise because I had an idea
it would happen very soon. It seems
like all the young folks are getting
married, so I suppose there are a
lot of war brides. Well darling it
will not be my fault if there is not
another annoucement soon after
I return. Dear I am sorry you feel
so down hearted and lonesome but
