know where I was stationed when I first hit
France. It so long since I seen a skirt I do
even remember what one looks like and I don't
see any out in no mans land. All a fellow can
do is to figure out how to get out with a whole hide.
I certainly get lonesome and home sick and
often think of the good old days. Do you still
remember them all dear? My thoughts are
always with you and home. I am sending
you some news paper clippings which express
my thoughts better than words I can write.
Give my regards to auntie and uncle and I
hope they are well. Darling I hope you will
not forget me over here and write soon. With
much true love and many kisses from your
lonesome soldier boy.

Henry.
