to let you I recieved your letter
and was glad to hea from you as
we do not get much news down here
as to what is going on in San Francisco
the papers we got down here have
nothing to amount to anything in
them.

I am glad to hear that you
have Bullock to fight your case
as I think he is the proper man
for that sort of a buisness.

I am glad to hear that you gave
Gertrude my address for August so
I can expect a letter from him.
