My Dear Children

I had a wish to write you a line but my babe is crying, I have not an hour that I can call my own, She seams to think that I must devote my whole time her, She improves in her looks every day, but becomes more troublesome, my health is not as good as it was, feel almost broke down Sawney was bad off last night with croup, also to day, we ware up with him and did not get much rest, your papa too was quite poorly Gilbert Morgan has declined coming here, and has sent Gov Moorehead son to take his place, there was another small boy come yesterday I don't know whare from, name Davis, he is not as large as Robert Bingham, there is so much confusion with the children, that I must give out writing, perhaps your Mama will add something

Yours affectionately M S
